Directions:
From Auburn (Interstate 80):
- Take Hwy. 49 north, through Auburn, towards Grass Valley
- Turn east (right) on Combie Rd.
- At stop sign, continue straight on Magnolia Rd.
- Continue on Magnolia Rd. to Dog Bar Rd. (approximately 10 miles)
- Turn left on Dog Bar Rd. to Taylor Crossing Rd. (approximately 5 miles)
- Turn right on Taylor Crossing Rd. (look for Hansen Bros. Bear River Div. sign)
- Follow Taylor Crossing Rd. to plant (approximately 1 mile in on right)
A Word of Caution: When returning towards Auburn using this route, DO NOT turn left on Dog Bar Rd. at the intersection of Magnolia and Dog Bar! The Bridge over Bear River has a 10 ton load limit and this portion of Dog Bar Rd. is impassable for truck & trailers due to narrow roadway and sharp turns.
From Hwy. 49 (Grass Valley):
- Take Hwy. 49 south to McKnight Way off Ramp
- Turn east (left) onto McKnight Way, crossing over the freeway
- Turn south (right) on La Barr Meadows Rd.
- Continue straight onto Dog Bar Rd. (La Barr Rd. veers right at the Corner Store and continues back to Hwy. 49)
- Continue on Dog Bar Rd. to Taylor Crossing Rd.
- Turn left on Taylor Crossing Rd. (look for Hansen Bros. Bear River Div. sign)
- Follow Taylor Crossing Rd. to plant (approximately 1 mile in on right)
